Whether you are a starting-out musician, music engineer, or performer, we welcome you to join our community. Dive into our diverse content, find solace in shared experiences, and add your own voice to our growing network. Together, we can inspire, support, and empower each other through the universal language of music and the shared journey of mental health.

Meet the Founder

This is me with a 3D-printed Music Kit that I created and donated to local charities and hospitals :)

Hi, my name is Yekyeong and I started Mental Symphony after realizing the need for a space where musicians could openly address their mental health struggles. I have seen and experienced firsthand the unique pressures and emotional challenges in the music community, and I envisioned Mental Symphony as a sanctuary where artists can find support, share their stories, and access resources tailored specifically to their needs.

I want Mental Symphony to be not just a platform, but a community. We publish insightful blog posts, collaborate with mental health professionals, and conduct interviews to foster a deeper understanding of the intersection between music and mental well-being. And while I am passionate about this cause, please note that I am not a licensed mental health professional. The advice and resources provided should be considered as supportive suggestions rather than professional guidance. I hope you find Mental Symphony to be an inviting and supportive environment where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to prioritize mental health!
